Brainstorm Restaurant Promos With Your Staff

A restaurateur must pay particular attention to restaurant promos if he or she is truly to stay ahead of the chasing pack and make a difference. These promos require that you engage in a constant process of brainstorming, working on future projects to help bring value and to attract first-time and repeat guests.

The business must be dynamic and all your staff should be involved in it on a proactive basis. Make sure that your staff do not view their employment as a means to an end, just a way to earn some money, but are really involved in ensuring that the business does well. Do think how you could create some restaurant promos by selecting a special menu appropriate to the particular festival, or by producing an event to give back to the community in one way or another, appropriate to a rather pressing cause or trend. By being creative and ingenious, people will subconsciously notice this and be more inclined to visit you in future.

Social media platforms are very important these days and restaurant promos should utilize them at all costs. Consider a Facebook business page, a Twitter profile and a MySpace account and others and keep up with them. Be interactive and get people to follow you and listen and observe what you are saying. For example, suggest that your visitors sign up to your Facebook account, where they will be able to see specific and targeted weekly offers, for example.

People always like to receive something for nothing and your restaurant promos could include branded items that people will want to keep. Be careful that you don’t cut corners here, however, as the product should be of the highest quality. Balance the cost against the bad reflection that an inferior product could suggest. Be wary of wasting money on a product that fails and is thrown away immediately.

You should do everything that you can to gather a customer’s e-mail account address and value it greatly. Run an e-mail marketing restaurant promo to get the address in the first place, by giving something away. Once you have the address, “drip feed” information and newsletters and very rarely sell anything. Over time, this process will definitely work.

Research as much as you can and look to see what other businesses are doing in your locality and elsewhere, even around the world. Use these ideas that you see to spike your imagination. This form of research will just fuel your creative mind.
