Did His Recipe Really Work
I love whoever thought of the recipe to put peanut butter and chocolate together! It is the most creamiest, delicious, sweet, flavorful, fantastic item I have ever tasted! I wish I had been the person who had thought of this!
I met Mark while I was shopping at my local grocery store. I was walking down the aisle looking for a certain type of jarred olives. I did not pay attention and ran into a display in the middle of the aisle. Cans came crashing down. Mark was kind enough to help me stop the wave of damage. He eventually asked me out and we started dating.
Once it cooled, granny would remove the meat, skim off the fat and set the liquid aside. Then, in a deep dish roasting pan, she added chopped carrots, peas, corn, green beans, celery. She would cover this with the liquid which she saved. Then she placed this in her preheated oven for about fifteen minutes. She baked it at about three hundred seventy-five degrees.
I really never intended for things to go so far. I never had said that I was exclusively dating either of them. But, that is how each of them took it. I was having fun and I thought they were also. I made a bad mistake.
I love peanut butter cups. They are so yummy. I do not know how people can resist them. They have to be one of the best sweets in the world. They are simple and yet so very good! Just thinking of them now makes my heart flutter. I suppose the simple things are the best.
Grandma is gone now. But, I remember her every time I make this dish for my family. I see my daughter’s eyes glow just from the mention of this food. She is just like I was. It is an easy recipe and will stand the test of time. I miss grandma but, her legacy, and food, lives on.
