Everyone almost seems to be watching their weight lately and with that it includes finding low in fat recipes. With stuff that is low in fat and calories it seems that you’ll have to give up all of your favorite dishes but you can actually find some really delicious light veal recipes. After you’ve tasted this amazingly savory dish you’ll never know that the unique recipes are actually a light meal.

Out of the veal recipes we’ll be talking about one that’s for salad loves that like to have a little Italian flavor in their meals. Before you can start though, you’ll need to get some ingredients. Those begin with veal blade steaks, 2 pounds. Have the veal steaks cut into inch thick slices. Next get 10 ounces of your favorite Italian salad mix. You can make your own too through combining radicchio and romaine if you don’t want to purchase premade.

Additionally, you’ll need to get 1/4th cup of fresh grated Parmesan, 1/4th cup of your favorite Italian dressing and 1 cup of Romano tomatoes, diced. After that salt to taste and you’re almost done with the marinade portion. To finish it off you’ll need to get a 1/4th cup of your favorite Italian dressing along with a dash of pepper and 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar. You’re now done with ingredient preparation.

You’ll now want to get all the ingredients mixed together to make the marinade. Do this until it’s well blended. Now place the veal steaks into the marinade in a dish that has both a lid and a cover. Veal recipes will vary but with this one you’ll need to keep it in the refrigerator for at least six hours of time turning the steaks every 30 minutes allowing them to completely soak in the marinade. After they’ve had the opportunity to marinade for the time you can get the grill prepared.

The last step for this veal recipe is to cook off the veal and then finish the meal. You’ll want medium coals for the grill and put the veal steaks on for 17 minutes making sure that you’re turning them often. During the cooking process you can combine the lettuce, dressing, cheese and the tomatoes into a large bowl. Gently toss the salad. Now put the salad on the plate right before you’re ready to take the veal off and then remove the bones from the veal and put the strips onto the salad. When it comes to veal recipes there are a lot of them out there but this one is sure to please even the pickiest eater and leave them wanting seconds.
