Pancake Recipe
No longer will you have to go to the grocery store and buy pancake mixes. With things you have at home you can create your own original pancake mix. It just takes some ingredients you can find in your pantry at home.
Flour, sugar, eggs, vanilla, salt, baking soda, milk and vegetable oil are just some of the ingredients you will need to create a mix. Depending on how big and how many pancakes you want depends on how much you mix.
Adding more flour to your recipe will make you pancakes thicker. Adding milk to your pancakes will make your pancakes a little more flat. To get the desired texture you are able to play around with your ingredients until you reach the right consistency.
After you have a tester pancake you will be able to play around with your recipe. Add a1/4 cup of batter on a skillet, this should make a good size pancake. You can add a little bit more if you so desire.
Once on the skillet, after a little bit of time, the pancake will start to bubble. This means its ready to be flipped over.
You can also add some fresh fruit or chocolate chips into the batter to make it a little thicker. Only do this if you have found the right consistency of your batter.
When it is time to lay it out on the hot plate or skillet pour the desired amount out and then add the ingredients to one side. See notes on when to flip the pancake and when flipped the ingredients should blend evenly into the pancake.
You can make this easy recipe on your own. You can have pancakes every morning now that you know how to make your own from scratch.
