Below is a simple Chinese recipe for you. It is recommended to use long grain for Chinese foods but medium grain can also be used.

The ingredients required are: cup of finely chopped meat of your choice, 2 tablespoon of oil, 3 oz or 1 can of sliced, broiled and drained mushrooms, 4 cups of day old cooked and chilled rice, 1 finely chopped green onion and 1 egg beaten.

First you need to brown meat in hot oil before adding all the ingredients except for egg to it. Then cook it over low heat for about ten minutes. Remember to stir continuously. Add egg and let it cook for another five minutes. Your rice dish is ready to be served.
